Recresco are very pleased to be able to offer these exclusive, environmentally friendly bags for life.

Recresco collects and processes over 60 tonnes of Plastic Bottles every week, so we know a thing or two about recycling plastics. One of the most important things we’ve found out is… plastic bags are bad! They often are not disposed of responsibly and end up littering the landscape, when plastic bags are mixed in with recyclable material they make it harder to process and they themselves are problematic (i.e. expensive) to recycle. On top of that, they aren’t even that good for carrying things in, when full they cut into your hand, and sometimes when carrying eggs or some other fragile and potentially messy product, they deliberately split and deposit their contents all over the floor.

So we decided to offer an alternative: The Recresco, limited edition, Long Life Bag. These bags are made from Jute, a natural fibre and can be used many times over (we don’t know exactly how many times as we haven’t had any failures yet!)
