Signing of New Tetra Pak Cartons Contract

The initial contract for Tetra Pak began in 2007 and in July 2009, we collected from 112 authorities with 532 sites.

An ammendment to the contract was agreed in August 2009, which increased our collections to 163 authorities with 777 sites.

We now have three dedicated collection vehicles to empty in Kirkby and three in Bristol. Tetra Pak materials are collected in Kirkby, packed and shipped mainly to Sweden for reprocessing.

We now cover a geographic area that includes the whole of Wales, the Southwest, Northwest, East and West Midlands, Yorkshire, Lancashire and the Counties.
