Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition 2008

It's September again and that means the culmination of all planning activities for the annual Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition.

Eric and Aidan have been working hard to ensure that our presence at this years show is commensurate with our standing in the industry.  Recresco has signed some excellent contracts this year and our customer base is growing rapidly. Over the year since the last show some of those we have welcomed as new customers include Stroud, Telford & Wrekin, Amber Valley, Broxtowe and High Peak, with over 130 plastic bottle collection sites, as well as over 100 Local Authority carton collection schemes with over 500 sites. New glass suppliers include Gwynedd, Powys, Wrexham & Conwy in Wales as well as Ellesmere Port & Neston. To celebrate that success our stand is bigger and better than ever. Here is a picture of the stand so that you know what to look for:

Anyone interested in selling mixed or colour separated glass for re-melt or Local Authorities wanting to take advantage of our unique bring site collection solution for mixed plastic, (bottles and hard plastic containers type 1,2, 5 & 6), will be welcomed onto our stand at the RWM exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham today, Wednesday or Thursday.

Recresco will be exhibiting on stand 722 (same place as last year). On the stand will be Tim, Eric, Simon, Fraser, Aidan, Jon Nutt & John Ferguson. This year we have invited CK Polymers and Ace (The Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment) to join us on our stand. We believe that these represent two of the best solutions for Local Authorities seeking answers to some of the most pressing problems associated with waste reduction and recycling today.
