ISO9001/2008 Kirkby Accreditation

Our Kirkby in Ashfield site acheived ISO9001/2008 status on 2nd September 2009...on their 1st attempt! Well done guys!

Why ISO9001/2008?

The board of directors identified that due to continuous company growth, now is the time to develop and implement a quality management structure and system which can be monitored and continually improved to reflect the changing needs of our business activity. With this in mind they approved the proposal to implement an ISO9001/2008 quality system in January 09.

What does the ISO9001/2008 accreditation mean? 

In broad terms it is a way of demonstrating to the world at large that we are a quality business who takes our administration and activity very seriously and we are a true quality business.  The Quality Management System is applicable to "Recycling of Glass, Tetra Pak, Plastic, Aluminium Cans and Steel Cans".
